While Silly Billy has been travelling and enchanting audiences across Ontario, we’ve also been in the studio for the re-imagining of Silly Billy for Francophone audiences, which we have aptly titled L’Odyssée de Bravou ! With a new twist on Billy the White Buffalo’s quest for the magical Unicorn, he meets a new character who starts as an unlikely companion, but become two friends on an epic journey of self-discovery.

We will be hosting a public studio showing at Jörgen Dance (160 Kendal Avenue, Building C, Studio B) on Tuesday, June 24th at 6 PM. The building is wheelchair-accessible, a ten-minute walk from Dupont station and has several options for paid public parking. We look forward to welcoming you!

The process for L’Odyssée de Bravou began in June 2024 with the combined efforts of our esteemed artistic director Malgorzata Nowacka-May, choreographer Amy Hampton and rehearsal director Louis Laberge-Côté working with our wonderful cast of performers: Emma Curtis, Arik Pipestem and Sebastian “Bash” Hirtenstein.

Alors que Silly Billy poursuit sa tournée et enchante les publics partout en Ontario, nous avons aussi été en studio pour créer une nouvelle version destinée au public francophone : L’Odyssée de Bravou ! Dans cette relecture du périple de Billy le Bison Blanc à la recherche de la licorne magique, il fait la rencontre d’un nouveau personnage — un compagnon improbable qui devient, au fil de leur aventure, un véritable ami. Ensemble, ils partent pour un voyage épique de découverte de soi.

Nous vous invitons à une présentation publique en studio chez Jörgen Dance (160 Kendal Avenue, bâtiment C, Studio B), le mardi 24 juin à 18h. L’édifice est accessible en fauteuil roulant, situé à dix minutes à pied de la gare Dupont, avec plusieurs options de stationnement payant à proximité. Nous serons ravis de vous y accueillir !

Le processus de création de L’Odyssée de Bravou a débuté en juin 2024, sous la direction artistique de notre estimée chorégraphe Malgorzata Nowacka-May, en collaboration avec la chorégraphe Amy Hampton et le directeur des répétitions Louis Laberge-Côté.
